FreeBSD 11.4 Releaseのサポートが切れるので、FreeBSD 12.2 Releaseにアップグレードした。その時のメモ。
最初に現在バージョンを確認（一応）。
freebsd-versionアップグレードするバージョンを、12.2で指定。必要なパッチをダウンロード。
freebsd-update -r 12.2-RELEASE upgradeインストールを実施。
/usr/sbin/freebsd-update installインストールの最後に再起動の指示があるので、OSを再起動。再起動後にインストールの指示もあり。
shutdown -r now再度、インストールを実施。
/usr/sbin/freebsd-update install１つ前のインストールの最後に、もう一度インストールの指示があるので、再度インストールを実施。
/usr/sbin/freebsd-update installこれで、FreeBSD 12.2 Releaseへのアップグレードは、OSとしては終了。ここまでは、特にトラブルはなし。残りは、pkgの更新など（ここから先はトラブル続き）。
アップグレードをしたときのログ。
